One GP for the whole family.
The Clinic 279 has consultation facilities in Preston, which is linked to an excellent range of diagnostic and analytical facilities, many of which are available in the same building.
In most cases, patients may have their diagnostics tests on the same or the next day, usually following on from their consultation. In other cases, more specialised tests may take a little time or organise.
Local area network of
Specific diagnostic tests will be determined by your practitioner but these can include:
- blood tests
- urine analysis
- CT and MRI scans
- Cardiac testing (ECG)
- Cancer screening (colon, cervical, breast, prostate and ovarian).
We work with St. Vincent’s (Hospital) Pathology service (which is adjacent to our building), as well as all other Pathology services, together with consultant radiologists to ensure fast-track results and reporting, often with same-day results.
With access to many of the world’s most respected private hospitals, we also have unrivalled relationships with leading specialists across a range of medical disciplines. Should a health condition be diagnosed, you will be referred on to the most suitable specialist for further assessment, but your GP will always be there to continue your follow-on care.

The Clinic 279 is here for you whenever you need us, day or night, with a 24 hour service 365 days a year, and as a service to our patients, we have arranged for house calls to be available day or night via our deputising service, DoctorDoctor.
